DADly Dumb

DADly Dumb

My greatest joy in this world has to be you, my boys and girls

To know in my own way, the love I found on your birth days

In my heart to forever feel, a more truer love than you fulfill

A Grand’er Father, this I be, through your Mothers love I see

Why every precious moment in someway touches me each day

So special in your own way, joy and tears, your wonder years

Trying my best to help you grow, not always in what I know

For what you feel deep inside is most important in your stride

each step on life’s highway to lift and guide you along the way

I often pray you find amusing why I can be so darn confusing

And just as often why I say, “you kids are raising me every day”

In your heart be understanding of the times I’m so demanding

Emotions I don’t show yet some how, some way you will know

I was not always there at times, this you know in your mind

most important in your heart is how you feel what I support

Times of crisis when I show the love I have to give so you know

a perfect father cannot be said, but the Father I am is your DAD!

A Nation for all Seasons

United States of America

A Nation for all Seasons

As we look at our nation today a symbolism of seasons comes to mind

General Washington and his army defeated the British in Winter time

in the year of 1775 and our nation in 1776 was strong go’n into Spring

the Declaration of Independence that Summer the Liberty Bell did ring

In 1787 the Constitution was adopted & ratified for all to understand

now began one nation under God with liberty and justice for every man

The first 10 amendments as the Bill of Rights signed in the Fall of 1789

and the founders of our great nation knew it could stand the test of time!

Now as we are to enter the Fall of 2012 and another election is at hand

our nation in real dire straits & a President any good patriot can’t stand

put our country in enormous peril triple’n the debt just 1 of his mistakes

ways his administration is out to destroy our country in whatever it takes

No regard for our Found’n Fathers or Constitution as the law of the land

a bunch of outlaws march to a socialist drummer & he’s lead’n the band

It’s a sad state of affairs how we’ve allowed those in power to undermine

what we have enjoyed being Americans since 1775 and that Winter time

We can ill afford to allow in the Fall of this year to elect these same nuts

or Winter this time will be like watch’n the ashes of our nation turn to dust!

TAPS and the lone bugler

Taps and the lone bugler

Every time I hear “taps” played, it touches me in so many ways

The lone bugler at the end of the day or a fallen soldiers grave

A call say’n rest you warrior I’m watch’n over you from above

whether the heat of battle or sacrifice you will know God’s love

Each note to give you peace, touch your heart & rest your mind

in what you have and will face as death any place and any time!

Jimmy on Memorial Day, 2012

Lord of our lives, our hope in death, we cannot listen to Taps without our souls stirring. Its plaintive notes are a prayer in music–of hope, of peace, of grief, of rest… Prepare us too, Lord, for our final bugle call when you summon us home! When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and death will be no more.
-From the invocation delivered by Chaplain (Colonel) Edward Brogan (USAF, Ret.) at the Taps Exhibit Opening Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, 28 May 1999

Not just a historical reminder, it’s a fact!

In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior:

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:
From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage."

The Obituary follows:
Born 1776, Died 2012

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29
Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1
Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Obama’s territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase. If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's - and they vote - then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

I strongly suggest you pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom..

Of course we are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional Republic and we know OHbummer and too many others pay little attention, if any, to The Constitution.
There couldn't be more at stake than now in the history of our Nation and reality is a rude awakener!!

Happy Day to Moms!

Have a blessed Mothers Day!

So as you read the words within this poem as they rhyme
Listen to this song Moms are "angels" in our heart & mind
There’s nothing more precious, caring, loving than Moms
They kiss ya, hug ya, squeeze ya, change ya in their arms
They mold you in ways sometimes ya may not understand
But if it’s in being a boy it’s how they will make you a man
Mothers were once just like others we know as a little girl
Bear’n a bless’n in a burden bring’n a child into this world
So on this Mothers Day there’s one thing we share and see
Without our Moms how would we ever have a family tree!

Bite'n to Bark'n

Bite’n to Bark’n

One day ya notice yo’re show’n signs of your age

ya notice some’n ya hope is just another life stage

More wrinkles than most would care try’n to count

What ya used to enjoy ride’n takes a while to mount

Ladies still look’n good and sexy in yo’re minds eye

What ya may say to’em puts some of’em wonder’n why

Some may even say come give my behind a love tap

And all you do is start think’n of take’n another nap

Most however look at ya in a slightly different way

What they may have slap’d ya for now you can say

They seem to know when ya reached an age for joke’n

Know’n there’s more squeal in ya than there is poke’n

This may make some fellas get a tad on the side of sad

The lucky ones have great memories that make’em glad

In remember’n the fun in how we could do it all night

And now we’re lucky if we can hopefully keep it upright

Seems like these days about the only thing we feel throb’n

is when we get to think’n some’n stole what we were rob’n

I can’t speak for every man whose lost the teeth in his bite

it shor didn’t stop us chew’n the desire for a sexual appetite

There’s some fun in how we find the way to grin and bare it

despite the fact there ain’t many ladies who wanna share it

It all comes down to what we had that once created a spark

Left us with a handful of wrinkles and all we can do is bark!

Rich Carrol on OHbummer

Barack Obama's 32 Month Report Card
by Rich Carrol
The following article was written by Rich Carroll. Rich is a veteran of the VietNam war and he wrote "Orphaned Heroes" a book about his command there. Since his retirement from Reader's Digest, Rich has been a free lance writer. He is a well known op-ed writer whose articles often appear in Two Sisters From The Right and other conservative blogs. His book "Terrorists' Crossing" available throughAmazon.comis about our southern border withMexico .
Mr. Hope and Change wants to create a nation humbled; humiliated, casting-aside capitalism and individual freedoms for one where we the people are government controlled. This would be a system that genuflects mediocrity, steals personal aspiration and opportunity, and punishes those who strive to succeed.
A gallon of regular gasoline the day Obama was inaugurated was $1.79 on average in the U.S. Today that price is $3.59, a 100.6% increase. The number of food stamp recipients has risen since Obama took office from 31,983,716 to 43,200,878, a 35.1% jump. Long term unemployment soared 146.2% during the same 32 month period from 2,600,000 to 6,400,000. Staggering hope and change isn't it?
American citizens living in poverty have risen 9.5% from 39,800,000 to 43,600,000, and the number of unemployed has jumped almost 25% from 11,616,000 to 14,485,000 as of August 31, 2011. The number of unemployed blacks has risen from 12.6% at the end of George Bush's term to 15.8% today, a 25.4% increase, and finally, our national debt is up 34.4% from 10.627 trillion to 14,278 trillion *
Keep these figures in mind as we recount the number of firsts for this presidency:
First President to refuse to show a valid birth certificate.
First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.
First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.
First President to preside over a cut to the credit rating of the United States .
First President to violate the War Powers Act.
First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico .
First President to defy a Federal Judges court order to cease implementing the Health Care Reform Law.
First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party.
First President to spend a trillion dollars on shovel-ready jobs and later admit there was no such thing as shovel-ready jobs.
First President to abrogate bankruptcy law to turn over control of companies to his union supporters.
First President to by-pass Congress and implement the Dream Act through executive fiat.
First President to order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of illegal immigrants across the U.S. , including those with criminal convictions.
First President to demand a company hand-over $20 billion to one of his political appointees.
First President to terminate Americas ability to put a man in space.
First President to encourage racial discrimination and intimidation at polling places.
First President to have a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.
First President to arbitrarily declare an existing law unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it.
First President to threaten insurance companies if they publicly speak-out on the reasons for their rate increases.
First President to tell a major manufacturing company in which state they are allowed to locate a factory.
First President to file lawsuits against the states he swore an oath to protect (AZ, WI, OH, IN)
First President to withdraw an existing coal permit that had been properly issued years ago.
First President to fire an inspector general of Ameri-corps for catching one of his friends in a corruption case.
First President to appoint 45 Czars to replace elected officials in his office.
First President to golf 73 separate times in his first two and a half years in office.
First President to hide his medical, educational and travel records.
First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it.
First President to coddle American enemies while alienating Americas allies.
First President to publicly bow to Americas enemies while refusing to salute the U.S. Flag.
First President to go on multiple global apology tours.
First President to go on 17 lavish vacations, including date nights and Wednesday evening White House parties for his friends, paid for by the taxpayer.
First President to refuse to wear the U.S. Flag lapel pin.
First President to have 22 personal servants (taxpayer funded) for his wife.
First President to keep a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000.00 a year at taxpayer expense.
First President to repeat the Holy Qur'an tells us, and openly admit the early morning call of the Azan (Islamic call to worship) is the most beautiful sound on earth.
Remember that 32 months of Obama White House we the people have accumulated national debt at a rate more than 27 times as fast as during the rest of our nation's entire history, as the Obama's plan their next extravagant vacation to the Indonesian Island nation of Bali .
Hope and change anyone ?????????

The “Big” Test for Americans

If it’s possible I’d like to see every American answer these questions so please share it with others and let’s see if we as “Americans” can do as much to gauge the commitment, determination, will and judgment of We the People in the reality and need to “wakeup” it’s time for actions not just rhetorical political party time in 2012. THIS TRULY IS THE “BIG” TEST at a most crucial time in our nation. So please take the time to answer, YES or NO to each question and the references to government are aimed at Federal not State or local.

Do you understand the role and reasons for and of government? (this is really a key ? So think of it in every question you answer relative to government today)

Have you read, studied and understand the Constitution as the formation and foundation for the United States of America as originally written by our Founding Fathers and the Bill of Rights, Amendments thereto?

Do you believe government has become too big to control?

Do you believe Balance of Power (Judicial, Legislative, Executive branches) is necessary in government?

Do you understand the reason and purpose of the Electoral College in the outcome and determination of Presidential elections?

Do you believe the 2 major Political Parties (Democrat, Republican) are a true representation of We the People?

Do you believe these 2 Political Parties are necessary?

Do you believe the size of government increases due to the needs/desires/issues of We the People?

Do you believe those in government use the needs/desires/issues of We the People to further their own agendas?

Do you believe Main Stream Media does more to sway/influence/direct public and political opinion?

Do you believe a minority cause has a stronger voice in government than the majority of We the People being represented?

Do you believe in equal rights for all U.S. citizens regardless of race, color, gender?

Do you believe illegal aliens are by their very presence in the U.S. illegal?

Do you believe in allowing those from another country to become U.S. citizens?

Do you believe what’s referred to as the “Tea Party” had a strong influence on the elections of 2010?

Do you believe the “Tea Party” is truly a stronger indication of the will within We the People than the 2 major Political Parties?

Do you believe you are in some way/shape/form dependent on government for more than National Defense? (Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, WorkmensComp, Employment, Benefits such as Food, Housing, etc.)

Do you believe you can live without any support from government but government can not exist without your support?

Do you believe government should be at least as accountable as you?

Do you believe those who represent you in government or work for government should have the same benefits (retirement, medical, etc.) as you?

Do you believe those elected to represent you in and as government should have term limits?

Do you believe those appointed in the Judicial and Executive branches/departments should serve a limited term in office?

Do you believe Presidential Executive Orders should be approved by Congress prior to implementation?

Do you believe there’s a need to set a limited and specified amount of money candidates can spend in seeking public office?

Do you believe the laws of supply and demand function far better without government control and intervention?

Do you believe free market enterprise and competition are stronger and more reliable forces than government?

Do you believe government has proven without a doubt they can not run or manage any business or quasi-government entity with any degree of competency?

Do you believe the Department of Defense should be run by those in the military under their oath to uphold and protect the Constitution and the Union for which it stands?

Do you believe those in military or government who are now civilians or no longer working for government should not be allowed to work as lobbyists for any company/industry that is a government contractor?

By answering yes to most or all of these questions you are a voice of concern for the direction our nation has taken. Your next decision is in how and what actions can you take to stop this onslaught of government. Only you can answer that.

By answering no to most or all of these questions you are either uninformed, misinformed, don’t care to be informed or so dependent on government you feel you have no other choice but take what benefits there are until such time as government can no longer serve your needs.

Political Satire (or is it?)

2 American Families

As most fully realize as we again approach another year of Presidential election, there’s an air of hope, prayers on one side that somehow, someway America can restore its Constitutional values. Get back on track as the best nation in the world in which to live, raise your children and achieve whatever your dream and heart desires as you aspire to the challenges in front of you. Then there’s the other side, who could care less but will darn sure vote to keep the benefits government provides them with absolutely no regard for who, what and how this came about. These folks live, breathe, love how they can do so well without working or paying the price so critical to maintaining their lifestyle. A parody of and within America today exemplified by the following..

Reality of Debt, Elections and WE the FOLKS

There's only a psychological thread keeping any fiat money(paper currency) afloat. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize how the FedRes, World Bank and the powers that be have effectively taken control of the world economy and the people therein. Debt is only worth as much as the debtor and when the debt is in the form of a Federal Reserve note (subtly changed years ago as a U.S. Treasury obligation) obviously it means just that..the FedRes is responsible for
